Philatelic Journey to Tiruvannamalai

Tiruvannamalai:- is a city, a spiritual, cultural, economic hub and also the administrative headquarters of Tiruvannamalai District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.  
 The city is home to the renowned Annamalaiyar templeAnnamalai hillGirivalam and the Karthigai Deepam festival and a prominent pilgrimage destination.

Philately Tour to Tiruvannamalai :-

I went to Tiruvannamalai on 28.05.2024.  I visited 1st to Tiruvannamalai H.P.O by two wheeler with my friend Mr Jegadeesh. 
I bought some Definitive stamps ( Bharathiyar, Shivaji, etc..) and  commemorative  stamps ( C.S) in this H.P.O. 
Yes,some commemorative stamps sold in the stamp sale counter.
 I purchased few C.S Indian Hand Fan stamps and Manas wildlife sanctury  stamps.


 Totally i purchased More than Thousand rupee value stamps in this post office. Sales counter staff  very Happy for more stamps sold in Morning @ 10.15.am . 

And i asked him how to get PPC of  Tiruvannamalai Deepam. He called me to the post Master. Post Master given direction to the staff and immediately  PPC of Tiruvannamalai Deepam cancellation cancelled  in  10 postcards, one special cover and My Philatelic Journery Diary. 
        Got Dual various PPC of
      Tiruvannamalai city on the 
          Single Post card .
 
     Already i bought one  special cover from dealer. In the cover special cancellation depicted Lord Linga and opted lord shiva stamp affixed .  Additionally i affixed Lord Brahadeeswar( Lord Shiva) temple stamps and got opted Tiruvanamalai Deepam PPC .

Then i went to Sri Ramanasramam Sub post office by bike for get PPC of Sri Ramanasramam. This distance between these post office is only below 4 kms. 

Sri Ramana Ashram, also known as Sri Ramanasramam, is the ashram which was home to modern sage and Advaita Vedanta master Ramana Maharshi from 1922 until his death in 1950. 
It is situated at the foot of the Arunachala hill, to the west of TiruvannamalaiTamil Nadu, where thousands of seekers flocked to be in his presence.
 His samadhi shrine continues to attract devotees from all over the world.

     I got 2 Various Tiruvanamalai  PPC on My Philatelic Journey Diary.

 This post office i asked that PPC, immediately cancelled on my philatelic  materials. I am very Happy for 2 cancellations of Tiruvannamalai in single Postcard.  . 
Actually this post office building  is situated in Ramanasramam's Land. This post office Ramana related stamps copy was enlarged & framed . And hang over in the wall. 

Actually above these two post office,  i already visited in 2022 & got two PPC. I went to tiruppathi from Madurai and returned i came through Tiruvannamalai.  I visited to  Tiruvannamalai Annamalyiar Temple. And i went to Ramanasramam S.O by Auto , i got PPC in this P.O and the same auto i went to H.P.O. got the PPC of  Annamalai Temple Deepam on Deepawali Deepam Joint issued  stamps. yes 1st time i got ppc on combination stamps in the picture post card . It was i postally used as Registered Post.

        in the year of 2022

 In my philatelic journey is a one of the milestone for got this above Stamp & PPC  Deepam  combination  cancelled on this picture post card , because then after my main theme is  collecting PPC or special cancellation  with combination of Stamps. 
Now i  collected more than 200 covers.

So it was a second time Philatelic Journey to Tiruvannamalai. Anyway i enjoyed this Journery.
