My Single Sheet Exhibit @ MAPNAPEX2024

My Single Sheet Exhibit 

Madurai Philatelist and Numismatist Association (MAPNA) conducted 4th single sheet  exhibition on 19.05.2024 @  Sourashtra Higher secondary school Madurai.

            MAPNAPEX 2024

In this exhibition 11 Junior Members & 12 Senior Members exhibited his/her Single sheet in this  competition.

 

Exhibition presided by Dr.M.Swamiappan , MAPNA President.

Exhibits evaluated by Renowned Philatelist Mr.Kasinath sir from Thanjore.

After the  Evaluation , Jury was announced following MAPNA members are winners.

*Top 3 - Junior Category*

1. Ms.Krithikka - Fight against Polio 1st Prize 

2. Ms.S.Kannammai - Pillar of Pride - 2nd Prize 

3. Master S.Anbu Chidambaram - Ink of Ages -3rd Prize

 *Top 3 - Senior Category*

1. Mr.C.Madhavan - Being a Good Wife is a gift given by God - 1st Prize 

2. Mr.C.Senthil Kumar. - Luge - 2nd Prize

3. Mr S.Asokan- Don't let Glaucoma steel your sight. - 3rd Prize 

My Exhibit:

Being a Good Wife is a gift given by God

 

I described the reason for selected this theme;

In my favourite leaders are 3 Persons.

1. Shri Kamarajar, Former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu

2.  Shri Abdul Kalam, Former President of India

3. Mahatma Gandhi. Father of the Nation.

Above 3 legends  are very honesty  Persons. They are all remarkable  achievements in their life for the public service . So I most liked these legends.  

1st Two legends are not married in their life. So trouble/tension are not came from their family (wife)side   for do the public activities.So they are easily done the  public service.

But Mahatma Gandhi ji was married kasturba and this couple have 5 children.  Gandhi faced many problems for the freedom movement.

Usually spouse(wife) not like the public activities doing by the husband.

 But kasturba good supported to the Gandhi's life in politics and social activism. Such as Phoenix Settlement, nonviolent civil disobedience, nonviolent civil disobedience  and quit India  movement.

Kasturba Gandhi was a freedom fighter, she was arrested by British  for fight against British Empire . She was dead during in the jail period

She was good wife to Gandhi. It was  gift to the Gandhi by the God.  I wish and pray , everyone to have a wife like this .  

My exhibit got 1st Prize in MAPNAPEX-2024. 

I really very happy .

I received sheild 

I received certificate for got 1st Prize of this competition in senior level.

Mapna given memento of wall clock to all Participants.
