Philatelic Journey to Newdelhi

My Philatelic Journey to Newdelhi on 23.12.2023.

1st i visited Dak Bhawan Building. It is Postal Department Headquarters. In this building one part is a Philatelic Museum. Saturday was holiday for this museum , so I can't saw this museum. But i already visited this museum in the month of February 2023 .

Philatelic Museum
Old Photo. It was taken by me.

Dak Bhawan Entrance
So i just taken photo before Building main entrance gate .

Sansad Marg H.P.O
In this building another part is sansad Marg Headpost office .

Philatelic Bureau:
In the sansad Marg Post office building inside is working of Philatelic Bureau.

Very Nice decorative arrangements of Philatelic stamps photo ( Photo copy of stamps was enlarged) hung  on the walls.

Reception of Philatelic Museum
I meet Mr Pravesh Gupta @ Philatelic Bureau. He is renowned Philatelist in Newdelhi.

I took video coverage of New Delhi Philatelic Bureau & uploaded into you tube channel .  YouTube link attached in this blog link  , Pls Watch this video & give your comments on YouTube channel.

G.P.O
And next i visited to New Delhi G.P.O by walk. Distance to GPO from Sansad Marg about 400 meters long. GPO pincode 110001

5 big post boxes in the front of the building . I booked one speed post from this G.P.O. That details below i was described.

I affixed 2 various commemorative  stamps regarding India gate ( India Gate Pincode 110001)  & also affixed Golden Jubilee of Pincode commemorative stamps ( in this stamp depicted of  Pincode 110001 printed) on this above envelope cover. All are above stamps related to above Pincode number and booked speed post in GPO(GPO Pincode 110001) .
I am collecting combination theme on covers or cards. So i think it is very opted combination cover to my theme.

Rashtrapati Bhavan Post Office
And i went to Rashtrapati Bhavan Post office. It is inside of Rashtrapati Bhavan campus.
Gate No.30 only allowed to visit this post office.

One Post Box inside of post office Building

This Post office building inaugurated by former President Shri Pranab Mugarajee.

In this post office has Permanent Pictorial cancellation of Rashtrapati Bhavan Building image.
And I got Rashtrapati Bhavan Permanent Pictorial cancellation on very opted Rashtripathi Bhawan commemorative joint issued stamp.
Cancellation not clear, because cancelled by Post Master . Some Professional  postman only doing Proper  cancellation of PPC

Another one post box I seen in campus of Rashtrapati Bhavan .

Red Fort
And I went to Red Fort with many Hurdles. Philatelic Gallery building is inside of the Red Fort . This Gallery now very modernized.
I took video coverage of  Philatelic Gallery & uploaded in you tube . YouTube link attached in this link , Pls Watch the video & give your comments on YouTube.
In this Philatelic Gallery have one PPC. In this PPC depict the  Redfort. I got PPC cancellation below this envelope cover. This envelope cover, i have already affixed Red Fort related two commemorative stamps for my combination theme. Actually this Philatelic gallery has not  book any speed post or Registered post. And important one,  no Post box in this gallery campus. If you need this PPC postaly to be use. You come out the Redfort campus, and go to nearest post office.  Actually I went Philatelic gallery @ 4.30 pm on Saturday. So all post office speed post  or register post booking closed earlier.  So Philatelic gallery staff told me , you go to Sansad Marg HPO it will accept speed post accept upto 7.00pm. So i Went to Sansad Marg HPO by Metro train . I booked this envelope cover by speed post in Sansad Marg HPO.

This Philatelic Gallery building commemorated by Special cover on 23.11.2023.  In this special cover , i additionaly affixed Redfort stamp & got PPC of Red Fort. This PPC dated on 23.12.2023. Date same : 23 ( Month only differ ). Stamp & cancellation is same.  It is very perfect good combination cover in my collection.
Philatelic Gallery front out  side wall depicted the stamp image of RANI LAXMIBAI . It was issued in 1957.
