Philatelic Journey to Coimbatore on 28.12.2023

I got Perur Lord Shiva (Patteeswarar) Permanent Pictorial cancellation @ Perur Post office. . 

Perur Pateeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Perur, in western part of Coimbatore in state of Tamil Nadu in India. The temple was built by Karikala Chola in 2nd century CE.

The temple is located on the bank of the Noyyal River and has been patronized by poets like Arunagirinathar and Kachiappa Munivar.

      Lord Shiva, known as ‘Patteeswarar’, is the presiding deity of this temple together with his consort Parvati, who is known as ‘Pachainayaki’. The deity is believed to be ‘Swayambu Lingam(self-emerged).

Lawely Sub Post office @ Tamilnadu Agriculture University campus in Coimbatore 

The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) had its genesis from establishment of an agricultural school at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, as early as 1868 which was later relocated at Coimbatore during 1906.

In 1920, it was affiliated to Madras University. TNAU assumed full responsibilities of Agricultural Education and Research and supported the State Agricultural Department by delivering research products. In 1958, it was recognized as a post-graduate center and began to offer masters and doctoral degrees.

In the lawely post office is available of permanent pictorial cancellation of Tamilnadu Agriculture University logo . 

Postwomen cancelled PPC of TNAU

I got PPC cancellation in My personal Philatelic Journey Diary.

Actually in this post office working all of them women's staffs. 100%women staffs. In India few women's post office is working.

Available very short route  from Perur P.O to Lawely P O without city touch. 

Both coimbatore PPC got in my Philatelic Journey Diary 

Another  PPC available in Isha temple. It is distance from Coimbatore upto 30 kms. I am unable to got this PPC on that day, due to time is not available for visit. 

Coimbatore H.P.O building entrance.

Already i visited HPO on the month of September 2023.It is very near to Coimbatore Railway station.

 In this building inside small portion of Philatelic Bureau is working. In this post office entrance have 3 Big post boxes .
